AIR INDIA EXPRESS LAUNCHES A NEW SERVICE TO ITS 50th DESTINATION – BANGKOK; FIRST FLIGHT FROM PUNE TAKES OFF

The airline now operates over 90 weekly flights from Pune, connecting the city to Bangkok and ten domestic destinations, including the newly announced route to Mangaluru.

Following the inauguration of the Surat-Bangkok route just a day earlier, Air India Express has commenced direct flights from Pune to Bangkok. To celebrate the occasion, the airline presented the first guest of the inaugural flight with a commemorative boarding pass at Pune airport.

Adding to the excitement for Pune-based travellers, Air India Express has also announced the launch of direct flights connecting Pune to Mangaluru, starting 4 January 2025. These flights will operate twice every Saturday.

Expanding its network further, Air India Express will begin flights to Bangkok from Amritsar with four weekly services starting 27 December 2024, and from Lucknow with three weekly flights commencing 28 December 2024.

In addition to booking flights, travellers can also take advantage of Air India Express’s ‘Xpress Holidays’ platform, offering curated holiday packages, including accommodation, transport, and activities. ‘Xpress Holidays’ can be easily accessed at the Product and Services section on the airline’s website.

From Pune: Air India Express operates over 90 weekly flights from Pune connecting directly to ten domestic destinations including Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mangaluru and internationally to Bangkok.

Additionally, the airline provides one-stop connectivity to 20 domestic destinations: Agartala, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Imphal, Indore, Jammu, Kozhikode, Kannur, Patna, Ranchi, Srinagar, Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vijayawada, and Vishakhapatnam and 11 international destinations: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dammam, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Salalah, Sharjah, and Singapore.
